About Coach

Coach: n: a private tutor; also : one who instructs a team of performers.

I am a Marathoner, a Wife, a Mother, a Friend, and a (Skin, Breast, Cervical) Cancer Survivor, but people call me Coach. I instruct my team of performers (friends, family, clients) through fitness, relationships, life crises, parenting, and everything else.

I’m famous for being slightly (understatement) accident prone. I also may or may not *snort* when I laugh.

I work in the property management world as well as I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Running and Triathlon Coach. I’m training to bring my athletic ability to the next level while trying to educate and save the world from skin cancer.  What does all this mean? It means I have to figure out how to fit 48 hours worth of things to accomplish in a 24 hour day. Each night as I sit down in my chair and scratch off items on my to do list and see what I have left to do before morning, more often than not, it is at that moment I realize the tattoo on my right ankle which says “miles to go before I sleep” describes my life perfectly.

I have a lot to accomplish in my life, with racing, and with this blog. I hope to bring you laughter, knowledge, inspiration, and motivation.

Thank you for sharing your time with me.
